winnipeg & the last of saskatoon. when i woke up on saturday i knew instantly that i was sick. not prairie dry throat sneeze sick, but actually cold/flu sick.

Blair's mom cooked us up a delicious pancake breakfast before we all headed out to explore 'Toon Town'. Ashley took Aaron, Steph and I to the university and showed us around campus, as well as inside. it was pretty much like a museum; dinosaurs, underground tunnels et all.

the group met at Amigo's and waited for the show to start. i would say i was quite grumpy and tired, and couldn't even drink my free beers. tragedy! but Aaron benefited. nervous, hacking, coughing, sneezing, napping... time went by slowly. finally we all played our sets to a seemingly uninterested crowd, but the biggest crowd we've played for. we didn't sell any CDs, either. bar shows, phf.
it took a long time to get home.. with waiting for the headlining bands to finish so we could get paid.
got 'home' and fell asleep instantly.

next morning we all went to the bus depot to say our goodbyes to Andy and Alex. they decided to give their van to an auto wrecker and bus back to Victoria. i can't even imagine a 20 hour bus ride.. ugh.

the drive to Winnipeg.. long.. boring.. we were all exhausted. i slept the entire way and i'm STILL tired.
we got to town at about 7 and found a hotel downtown to stay at. we went to Moxies for dinner and they fucked up my meal (second meal fuck up on this trip) and i got 25% off.
now i am currently sitting in our hotel room on a chair that continues to lower to the ground slowly..
i was the party pooper who opted out of exploring to have a shower and try not to feel so crappy. what a nice shower it was..

time for tv and kleenexes up nose.
