craving math rock & finnish psych electro
what?
i'm not sure.
my latest music obsession, which is on the verge of being replaced with
MGMT, is two things:
Shogun Kunitoki. apparently, Finland is like a haven for weird electro music. as well as cute soft girl vocals over mellow pop keyboards (i guess kind of like
Chromatics). this stuff is amazing. i just totally lost when i'm listening to this album.
Tasankokaiku is not only pretty like lullabies, it totally gets me pumped up with heavy synth lines and (at times) and abrasive mirage of electronic sounds. layers and layers. no vocals, ever!

Birds, and the tracks are named accordingly.
