see the Joel Plaskett Emergency, thursday May 17th.
i've never heard of him until the other day when i finally listened (under the reccommendation of my good friend Derek).
i likes. to me, it's total summer rock jam music for when you're pre-partying or adventuring in the brush or relaxing as the sun sets..?
so, May 17th, i guess i will be going to the show! mostly because Derek really wants to go.. and since he'll only be here for a week, i must do as he wants...
give'm a listen, then attend!

Dude, you've never heard of Joel Plaskett? Pssh. His stuff with Thrush Hermit is better anyways. Get "Clayton Park" (probably my second favourite album from an atlantic province band, next to Eric's Trips' "Love Tara," of course) and discover what you've really been missing.
